Test series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka has ended their third and final Test match against Pakistan with draw. Now, they have defeated Pakistan cricket team by 2-0 in the three-match Test series. This victory has ensured one thing that Sri Lanka is always a strong team in their own soil. This match was called off by the captains of both teams. Sri Lankan skipper Kumar Sangakkara hit a match saving century in the fourth innings. Pakistan cricket team put an enormous chasing score of 492. Sri Lanka could score 391 for the loss of 4 wickets in their second innings. Host team needed 101 runs more to get victory from 16 remaining overs. To avoid the defeat, Sri Lanka needed 154 runs from 38 overs. Sangakkara and Angelo Mathews could climb the required run rate. Captain scored unbeaten 130 runs while Mathews scored 64 runs. This draw was unexpected for Pakistan team as in the end they thought that after coming so close to the score Sri Lanka would go for it but Sanga had another plans. He just was playing for draw and he with Angelio Matthew Didn't let know the Pakistani's that they were just were playing for the tame draw.
It think Sanga took a safe side and opted out for draw but cricket is not all about record books that how many tests you win or convert them into draws.I think he should have tried to win the match. The spectators were shocked and amazed to see this decision.
In the end in the presentation ceremony Sri Lanka was awarded the winners trophy and Vassy was given farewell by his mates.
